Aquarium Dude
I am a little unsure of the quality of the scales on my neon tetra's, they appear to have a sort of purply tingh when the fish oves to the side. Also on one there is an odd locking bump on its underside. What should I do?, would tonic salt be any use? Also, my kissing gourami is trying to kiss one of the golden gouami's, What shold I do? (450l tank) Thanks A.D.
Caryl
I don't think tonic salt would do anything in this case. I wonder if you just have poor quality neons. They seem to be bred for quantity rather than quality these days. Many being sold should have been culled. Kissing gouramis kiss, that is how they got their name. It is how they communicate. If it isn't worrying the other gourami I wouldn't worry either.
