firespook
One of my danios is looking rather fat. I don't know if it is pregnant, don't even know if it's male or female. Or maybe it's been eating too much or has something wrong with it? It doesn't act differently to the others, so what are your thoughts? Are there other symptoms I can look for? Any help is much appreciated
Bananalobster
No scales sticking out or anything? If it doesnt look uncomfortable I would say you have a happy fat danio

SpidersWeb
Sounds like a female full of eggs. Yep. Sounds like a female to me too Egg laying fish don't get pregnant but the female does carry roe (unfertilised eggs), and when fed well this roe builds up and makes them look a little fat. Completely normal part of being a female danio
