AMAZONIAN
Hi All anybody got or know where any "NUPHAR SAGGITIFOLIUM" (Cape Fear Spatterdock) can be bought, borrowed or stolen from. I'd love to get a rhizome and propagate it.
alanmin4304
It may not be easy as it is an unwanted organism which is barred from sale, propagation, distribution or commercial display. Big Brother is watching.
Warren
Hi Alan, Where did you find the info saying it's on the unwanted list please? The latest info I have says only Nuphar lutea is banned. Is there another list?
alanmin4304
On this site. Look under plants---Plant articles---Recently declared aquatic pest plants. It is listed as Arrohead (Sagittaria saggitifolium) ---and is not the plant in question. My humble apologies to Amazonian and all concerned.
