firefish
Yesterday I noticed thaat one of my giant danios was having trouble swimming. The fish is turning upside down uncontrollably. I put the fish in a seperate container cos he was ending up stuck in the plants etc. And I thought he'd mostlikely be dead by the time I got home. This morning I see that he is still alive but he seems to have a little more control than he did the day before. When I first saw it happen I thought he'd lost his swim bladder. Is this true? And what can be done?
Caryl
Could be swim bladder or constipation. See if he will eat a bit of cooked, shelled pea. This is recommended if a fish is constipated. It is quite possible he will come right again.
