Stella
Animates has a special on at the moment of 'buy one get one free' for bloodworm. Just wondering how long bloodworm keeps in the freezer? Presumably a couple of months. Am tempted to stock up a bit
davidb
yes should be fine for a while... I am not sure how long but I have had 8month old stock in my freezer before and its been all good when I have came to use it. I think it would depend on how long its been in the shop freezer too
michael.qian
They will last a long time as long as they are frozen.
MarkLB
The 'buy one get one' deal is great. I buy heaps when its on and it lasts for yonks in the freezer
alanmin4304
The shelf life will depend on the temperature. Generally material stored at -18deg will last twice as long as that kept at -10. Fish will generally last 3 months at -10deg and I assume they would be similar or keep even longer. As stated, you don't know how long it has been in the shop or at what temperature.

Stella
I think 'yonks' is one of those words they don't really know how it started. A quick google suggests it originated in the UK and also found Aust, NZ but not US. I love words Back to the topic, I think I might buy a few more, one site suggested they can keep for two years in the freezer.
