my4age
Hey, i suspect 1 of my fryeri is infected with Hexamita, (http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/BODY_VM053) i'm wondering if he can cure himself? i also understand that i should treat it with Metronidazole, however, i am a bit reluctant to bring the fish in to the vet as it may stress the fish more, is there any way i can get the medication in Christchurch without taking the fish out? Thanks.

my4age
i noticed the feces is white and smaller compared to usual, its gone skinner and sometimes refuse to consume the food given. The colour of the body changes randomly sometimes pale and sometimes dark. He seemed to be hiding in the corner of the tank most of the time. what do u think is wrong with my fish?? herefishiefishie
Sounds internal to me, worms, hex or similar. Treat with food soaked in metro if you can lay your hands on some. Frenchy
dimebag
you shouldnt need to actually take your fish to the vet, maybe print out some info off the net, and take some photos of your fish. unless you know a doctor, get him/her to prescribe some for you
