heyandrea_
and my tank is still in the process of cycling. At the moment Im doing water changes daily - or every second day coz ammonia keeps spiking. I have friends who are looking after the house, but have absolutely no idea about the cycling process, changing water etc etc.. What should I do? Should I get some ammo lock just incase? I know that most ppl dont like to use it, but will it help in this situation? I am going to get them to replace some of the water every second day, and leave detailed instructions, but they'd have no idea how to use a siphon and do it properly. So am a bit worried! Chose the right time to go away! geez!
Alan
Don't touch the ammo-lok it stufs up the cycling process. What have you got in the tank to cycle it, what fish, plants, and how big is it. LxBxH??
heyandrea_
Its a 25 litre tank. Has two plants and two small goldfish. I am running two filters at the moment too, one is to help kick start the cycling process
Caryl
There are several in here from Tauranga. Perhaps one could babysit the fishes until your return?
