smidey
Hi all, anyone had major problems with giraffe's being aggressive? they are noted as aggressive on the cichlid forums profile of them. I did not realise this before i bought them home. I have added two giraffes to my fryeri, cobolt blues, red zebras & e yellows.
malawi_man
i'm sure they will be fine, the males can fight a bit but I have a group of 8 that have grown up together and all are fine.
smidey
ive been watching them over the past hour or so & if anything, the red zebs are the ones being aggressive. the giraffes tried to get into their hut & its been a game of tag ever since
Afrikan
I kept 5 relatively large giraffes in my Malawi display and they only niggled amongst themselves, weren't interested in any other species... 8)
Johannes Visser
We have ours in with Blue lump heads (Dolphins) seem the dolphin's gave them a lot more hassle. Only some aggression towards to each other but in general they are quite placid. Have a lot of aggression when they were breeding, then they give everything hell.
