Dimsum Posted July 16, 2007 Report Share Posted July 16, 2007 I'm building a new pond for my turtles (yeah, in the middle of winter) and was thinking of planting Vallisneria in there. I know turtles will probably eat them but will that affect them in a negative way???? Could maybe plant japanese rush (acorus g. variegatus) around the edge of the pond, sorta likes to be semi submerged (roots wet leaves dry etc) just an idea!
