fattythecatty
I have a 4 footer that currently houses my 3 young clown loaches, a 3 inch bristlenose and 3 teenage angels although 1 will be moving as the other 2 have paired up and are picking on it. So I'm thinking I'd like some tetras and I like the Serpaes. Now, I know they can be fin nippers but with maybe a group of 10 I thought they might leave the Angels alone. Any thoughts? Luke*
I've found them to be fin nippy and get annoying. They are one of the aggressive tetras. That's just my experience, I think others have found them okay.
Jo1
We use them all the time with angels and have had no fin nipping at all. You can also get neon serpaes which are brighter. Nice fish.
Caryl
I have never had nippy serpaes either. 8)

fattythecatty
Sold then!! I really like the look of them and think they'll look good in my tank set up. My angels are only recently moved into the tank and obviously like it cos they spawned within a week but ate the eggs after 2 days, man, they got fiesty  so will they be ok with the Serpaes? Caryl
Spawning angels aren't ok with anything  but the serpaes will cope and be able to get out of their way.
