SilverBlade86
Went to Animates today to take advantage of the 2 for 1 deal they have on at the moment. This is how my conversation went: Me: Hi there, do you have any clown loaches? Lady: ...? Me: They are orange and black. Lady: *Leads me to some swordtails that have black spots* Me: Not those, the clowns have stripes. Lady: *Brings me to some tiger barbs* Luckily at this stage I saw the clowns next to the tank with the tiger barbs in it. I watched them for a minute and choose the 2 most active and colorful. I think I made a good choice, the lady took at least 5 minutes to catch both, they were too fast for her. Good deal though, I did advise anyone that has the time to rush to Animates. SilverBlade86
Millions! Not really, maybe around 20 ish? I went to the one on Blenheim Road. Some of them have faded colors though. Might want to be picky when choosing.

heyandrea_
I went into animates today. Watched the fish in the tanks for awhile. Had a look in the tank with albino catfish, and another species of fish (can't remember what they were). Noticed a dead albino catfish at the bottom of tank, looked like it had been there for awhile, and the other fish had started eating it. Not cool! So I told someone. At least they delt with it straight away.
michael.qian
I would still be prepared for ICH, don't panic if they get it though as most clown loaches will after been transported to a new tank. I got my loaches last friday and one of them got slight ich, just a few spots, now they've all gone now after treatment.
michael.qian
Also I really hope the lady in the pet shop was new and just started working with fishes, because it's the only logical explanation of why she didn't know what a clown loach was. HummingBird
An equally logical explanation would be that she's more of a peto than a fisho.
