Adrienne
I've a tank of about 100 litres, pretty much square in shape. Don't know what to put in it. I've looked at discus and cichlids, none of which I know much about, have asked the odd question on this forum but still haven't decided. What does everyone suggest. Planted or unplanted doesn't matter. I've 4 x 4ft tanks also to use in the future if needed when the occupants grow. Suggestions everyone please! Wok
Having a planted tank depends on the fish you wish to go for. If they are big cichlids that like to dig.. then forget about having a planted tank. If you are looking at more placid tank then Planted would look good. The final decision is yours

lickindip
id have to agree with ron ... but plant the back half really thick and create a community around the discus ... my personal favourate would be the rose discus at the moment, check out my welcome/intro to my tank post and ull see what i mean by the planted tank cherri O Lewis
