smidey
Hi all, i have noticed in the last 24 hours that my red zebras that i got on tuesday have developed silver patterns on the outside of their gills. when looking at them it looks like tin foil stuck to them. the pics below dont show them as bright as they really are but you'll get the idea. also is it common for them to have the gill area a darker red than the rest of them? &

Afrikan
The silver marking is normal, and alot of red zebras I have seen their gill plates are often darker in colour, you see it with angels etc to that are lighter in colour and goldfish. Must be the lighter pigment in skin. The only time I would worry is if my fish was showing signs of distress and gasping for air etc.
