caserole
A mountain I do climp..... I desided last year I needed a challenge so I bought some Queen Arabesque Pleco's and some wild panda cory's. The Queen's are still growing but not far from being large enough to set them up for breeding. Fancy cory's have for some reason been imposable for me to breed, I know how and I've been to friends fish room's over the years to see how they did it but still no luck. I think it is all down to not applying what I know properly. any way.. Over the last few day's I've been changing things in my fish room to more suit my needs. 1 of the things I did was take out a glass divider from a 90x45x30mmH tank to place around 100 cockatoo fry + some baby B/N and to help keep things clean I chucked in some bronze cory's and the pair of panda's I got that I just haven't found space for to try and breed. The water in the tank was made up of 50% RO water and regular tap water as I was mixing fish from different types of water. Into the tank also went 2 big wodes of spawning moss to help settle the 1+cm long fry down. This morning to my utter amasement there were very large eggs signally place on the glass but most throw the moss. They could only be from the Panda's I couldn't beleave it, I know panda's aren't that hard but wild cory's tend to be a bit more tricky then that. I didn't even have a heap of bubbles going to stimulate them so it must have been just the change in dissolved minerals as there was no change in temp either as I had plenty of water up to temp for the change around. It's so cool The only problem is as the morning wore on they all when white But hay at least they spawned once and because there in a fry tank they'll be getting plenty of food to fatten them up for the next attempt in a few weeks. :bounce: :bounce:

evilknieval69
Well if you divide it into 50 twenty litre tanks, you could keep about 150 killies Stu, this 'small' killie room sounds cool.
