tHEcONCH
tHEcONCH, being a marine newby, would like to know the difference. He is sure he will be embarassed by asking this question once he has attained the status of marine Jedi.
wasp
Not enough room for any clown hosting anemones, some native ones perhaps although they are non photosynthetic meaning you have to feed them a lot and pollute the tank. For softies best plan would be avoid any stingy type ones altogether, just some zoanthids and non stinging type mushrooms. A small finger leather or similar would be pretty cool too. tHEcONCH
tHEcONCH is seeking the definitive difference - what makes an anemone an anemone, rather than a coral?
Ira
The Ira says - Assuming you're wanting just to identify them? Anemones have larger longer tentacles than soft coral polyps. Anemones have mouths. Not sure if there are any soft corals with mouths. Anemones don't have the hard calcium needles through their body that even most soft corals have. Anemones can walk. tHEcONCH
Could it be that Anemone's by definition have no coralites?
