OK well as most of you know i am off to america next week (if you didnt know, IM GOING TO AMERICA NEXT WEEK!!) 8) 8)

and most of you also know that i have a few tanks, as i tryed to sell my big tank but it didnt sell, i ended up taking it to tauranga and have got a very good mate to look after it for me...

but before you lucky peeps get to see the *BEAST* i should tell you that, i broke it :( :(

the spriget that goes through the glass in the over flow to take the water to the sump got stuck in the door, and smashed out

so theres me going off my nut!!! and then i get told i can fix that, so down to the glass shop got some bits cut and drilled and it all went back to getha, sadly i didnt get any pics of this but i will start another thread in techniquil(sp) on how to fi a tank with that kind of break...

ok so ive made u wait long enough heres some pics...

good going. that is a nice sized one. they have really short lifespans. our one is about 90cm tentacle to tentacle now and is looking a bit under the weather. keep a close look at his eyes Mark because that is the first indication they are unwell. That and he will quickly loose his apetite

Had many occiies over the years the first 1 for almost 2 years, started off the size of the old 50c piece, ended up being able to touch each end of a six foot tank.

It went to an aquarium in Kuirau park Rotorua , where she used to steal the crayfish from the tank next door.

She would tap rocks together when she wanted feeding, mimiced me tapping on the front glass.

If they start to stress we put them back in the tide, cheers
