Tropheus
hi It might be an ulcer or a tumour. I had a XL Julidachromis with a tumour around the gill area. It lived happily for about a year till the tumour just got too big so I had no choice but to put him down. If your peacock is eating and doesnt seem stressed then its up to you if you want to keep him alive. Ta mike :-?
Afrikan
Yeap my thought was a possible tumour to.. and as Tropheus said, as long as he is happy and eating then that's fine

herefishiefishie
My guess is that one of the organs has gone, blockage in intestines caused swelling, that sort of thing. Especially to go that quickly. Sorry to read about the loss Frenchy
