michael.qian
I had a 20W and a 15W light, 2 seperate lights, for my 140L tank. Now I've just changed to a double tube light of the same length, 62cm. Anyway I'm using the 20W tube I already have and it comes with another 18W blue tube, so total power is now 38W, greater than before, but it doesn't turn out to be as bright. Is it because there is a blue light? Is this good or bad for plants? If bad I will buy another 20W normal tube. Thanks
GZ_Loach
depends on colour and the brand/make.
michael.qian
the 15W light I had before wasn't Aqua One it was some cheaper brand I think.
michael.qian
Out of the new bulbs, the 20W normal fluorescent is Aqua One, the other is JBL, that's a good brand right?
GZ_Loach
they are both good brands but they can differ slightly in terms of brightness becuase of the way the bulbs are made and what they are made from etc.
