sid 201
hi all I've a female panduro(unfortunatly lost the other when moving tank -Any one seen or have males?)I'm planning to put other dwarf Cichlids in as well-is there a risk of cross breeding between types of apisto's? I've seen lots on here about Africans and some other types cross breeding but verry little about SA Dwarfs particually Apisto's . Any advice would be great . ryanjury
What type of tank are they in? If they're in a community no babies will live so no need to worry about it..
antwan
I think apisto species would only cross-breed if they were very similar looking. The likely-hood of any two random species cross-breeding with one another would be quite slim I'd think. I've had a lot of different apisto species in the same tank showing no sign of affection toward eachother.
