evilknieval69
I finally got some killies! 3 korthausae yellow (1m 2 f) and 3 chocolate australe (1m 2 f) all fish are only about 2-3cm. They are in a 2 foot tank setup, with a divider in the middle so each species gets a 30 x 30 x 30 tank each. Not quite into breeding them as of yet (they need to grow up more anyway) but its my goal in the future to collect some eggs. PICS! First one shows the position the new tank is in my bedroom... in the wardrobe!! And this is a closer view of the tank The divider is not cut too square so i put a little bit of gravel along one side to stop them going under it (trust me, they tried) The two little mops are there just for hiding mainly ATM lol. tank consists of a heater, and a double sponge filter sitting on one side, but the outlet is on the other side so the water is constantly circulating Hope you like! Alan
Now you have got the bug #276 I don't think that you'll regret it. That's only two of the species that we have here in NZ. Your cupboard will be full and you'll need to build another.

HandS
when you join the nzka you get a number, that stays with you for life, no one can take your number(as i understand it), if you rejoin years down the track, you can regain your number. Hope that is right Ours is #
Alan
12/04/2006//276 I thought I read that off your sig. evil. Sorry if I read it wrong. Above is your joining date and your number. Yes you do get a number, but it is not for life. It is forever. Mine is 104. Some may say, hope there are no more 104's

The male australe is swimming round trying to swim round with the largest female... looks like breeding behaviour to me.. would this be correct? Alan
Thanks so much for that Jim, but  I did do a wee, tiny, edit. I could have really cheated and removed all those accusing posts after my error, but heck, we are human aren't we. I make mistakes on purpose to see if my posts are being read anyway. :-?
