Whiskas
I was cleaning out my filter this morn, it was long overdue (I have a Fluval 2+). When something caught my eye. On the inside of the filter (on the plastic not in the spongey bit) were little clear eggs, they were quite small maybe half mm in diameter (?) Whose could they be? The Neon Tetras? I have in the tank guppies and platies (obviously not theirs  ) BN's (their eggs are orange?) neon tetras, ramhorn snails and 'pest' snails. Neon Tetra eggs are light sensitive, yes? So if the eggs are theirs it si now possible that they will 'die' as they were exposed to light? Anyways, it's had me wondering all morning. wilson
might be the Snails my filter is over run with them
SpidersWeb
Yeah my first thought was snails too. If they are singular and perfectly round then its possible they're neon eggs. Neons will breed if you put rainwater in, but normally do it over java moss etc and the eggs dont really stick to the side of things. Whiskas
They are perfectly round. Just like Killi or goldie eggs but much smaller. They weren't really stuck hard to the inside of the filter, i could easily remove them with a light touch of my finger. I thought that snail eggs were round eggs inside of a larger sack-type thing that sticks to whatever. Or are ramshorns different?
SpidersWeb
Na ramshorns lay in a sack like you suggested. If they're individual, I'd say they'd have to be neon tetra eggs.
Alan
Can only be neon eggs. Prolly won't be successful with hatching with the above reason the cause. Now for the "Black-tank"
Whiskas
Wish i had room for another tank to make a "Black-Tank" for them. But unfortunately no room left in bedroom Or is there..... 8)

Alan
What were you doing under the bed Caryl to find out that it was dark??
Caryl
I asked about it, I didn't say it was dark. I assure you if I am in a bedroom, I am not under the bed!
