They wont let my Bristlenoses plecs kuhli loaches or chained loaches have any. Any suggestions? And what else do kuhli and chained loaches eat? peanuts Posted March 9, 2007 Report Share Posted March 9, 2007 all of my gourami love pleco tabs, therefore I count it as part of their diet and add a few more for them. as for your bottom feeders you could try feeding them at "lights out". other things to try are zuccinic and shelled peas etc - but the gourami also like to eat these. Alan Posted March 9, 2007 Report Share Posted March 9, 2007 Make a feeding tube. A pvc "T", joint three lengths of pvc, to fit the joint, one of which should reach above the water-line. Drop food down the tube and the fish that you wish to target will swim into the cross section and eat undisturbed. Use this appliance one end of the tank while feeding the main tank inhabitants the other end. The target fish will soon get use to it and will be waiting in the tube for their tucker.
