tracey2775
I have a beautiful Egeria Densa (anacharis) plant in my fish tank and its completely starting to take over the place. I dont want to remove it as the fish love to nibble on it and swim through it. Would i kill it if i cut it down shorter and will it regrow? Caryl
Egeria densa is a noxious weed over here  It reproduces by breakaway branches. It will not kill it if you chop it off, nor will it stop it growing.
Warren
Caryl's right on. Its just a stem plant so you can chop it up no problem. If you want to keep the best look you're best to pull the whole plant out, chop off the top parts of the plant and replant them. Thow the bottom part away. The newer growth always looks the best.
