carla
Well don't you think that was a big wind-up?? Look at the pictures! That is some plastic toy in my opinion. No wonder it had to "die"!!
Insect Direct
dead or alive if it was truely tht size they could still photo and measure it therefor still a record i would of thought, I doubt it was as big as was stated so someone trying to prove something
fishboi
What's left is 350mm. His tail and fin are gone. I'm guessing the rest of his tail to tip of the fin would be around another 200mm looking at what's left of him and what he looks like in the pictures I took. What I find amazing is he's 200mm wide. i guess it was not as big as they thought and looking at the pic if the body was 35cm the tail was certainly not 20cm so not a record breaker. still a very large goldfish. carla
Gee peoples! Since when does a normal fish look like that??
Ira
Since when is a breed of deformed inbred mutants a normal fish? That body shape doesn't look particularly abnormal for a goldfish. The head looks a bit small, but if it was bloated that could explain it.

carla
Guess you havent seen a fish in the final throes of dropsy Carla. Thats right. Luckily I haven't!! Does it make the head shrink though??
Alan
No, but if you saw me you would possibly be thinking "Well when are your scales gunna stik out Al??" Like one of the posters have said already, the body just keeps expanding with fluid retention to the point of, well you read about what happened. Not nice for the fish and the best treatment is to remove from tank and youthaneyes it.(the fish).
