We have never had fish before (not even a goldfish as kids ) so have no idea of what is involved. Pet shops give us differing advice on the size of tank to start with and I therefore thought this forum may be helpful to provide us with advice. We would like to know what size tank beginners should start out with, the time commitment involved with cleaning and maintenance of the tank and any other information that is relevant.
