vickih
Murtle is 18months old............I have only had her for a month. She was only eating frozen food when I got her, she is now having frozen food one night and pellets the next and some lettuce. How can I help her???????? It is right there ready to come out and she is trying but its just not happening.
Insect Direct
try peas i think theyre good for constipation, have you gt pebbles or stones in the tank as they will eat them and can block the turts up. You can use big stones but personally i dont use anything in my turtle tanks now & it makes cleaning easier IMO!
vickih
I was wondering if she might have swallowed one. I just set the tank up the same way as the guy I got her from did....well sort of...she is now in a tank about 4 times bigger. I'll try some peas. Insect Direct
there maybe other stuff for constipated turts im not sure but if its a stone it should pass in time, well 1 would hope so anyway. Some turtles I bought a while ago went into a bare bottom tank and they were popping stones out for a couple of weeks

Gatito
Can a turtle have fruit? You could try some prune
alanmin4304
when they are young they are straight carnivores but start eating vegetation later. I give them plenty of O2 weed and others. They will only eat what they want. It may have had that missing from its diet.
