evilknieval69 Posted December 27, 2006 Report Share Posted December 27, 2006 My main tank is a 250L planted and it has 6 average sized fish (angels, keyholes, kribs) and 11 small schooling fish, 8 Corys (3 bronze, but 5 are only pigmy corys so very small) and about 4 Bristlenose. HandS Posted December 27, 2006 Report Share Posted December 27, 2006 Alot depends on size of the fish, filtration and how often you want to do water changes My 300L has: 6 Discus 12 blue/1gold/1bolivan ram's 4 Cockatoos 7 Harliqun rosboras ~10 Neon's ~7 Kuhli loachs 2 Black line flying fox's 1m/6f Fighters 3 Rummy's 5 Swordtails 8 Bronze corys 1 Panda cory 4 BN's Im shure that is all, the tank is planted and the filtration is 1500LPH, with a lot of media. sharn Posted December 27, 2006 Report Share Posted December 27, 2006 in my 360L i have- 1 adult Oscar 1 adult sev a 20cm common plec which wont grow (he was kept in a 60L for a few years before i rescued him two years ago) a 12cm RT black shark (also rescued) 3 SD's i may upgrade them all into my 460L once teh SD's get larger. decor is driftwood, dark gravel and fake plants 50-70% once weekly w/c (im a fan of big w/c's :lol: ), fluval 304 and 2000lph internal 220L bare bottom 7 discus ranging from 7-14cm 50% w/c every second day. Rena xp3 and sponge filter 150L planted- 8 rummes 3 cories 1 lonely khuli one agro angel pair of wild agassizi's M & F bristlenose once weekly 40% w/c's, jebao 304 170L- five axolotls. once weekly 40% w/c with a small 200lph internal (amazing how such a small filter can create enough current to move the axies gills at the other end of the four foot!) Have a tank full of guppies platties and bristlenoses... 2 tanks full of baby africans - 2 types of maleri red, chilumba red flush, demasonis, ice blue zebras. Another grow out tank with pulchers, more ice blues, ahli's, lumpheads, red zebs more demasoni and some peacocks.. Another tank with 10 discus and a pair of blue rams And the tank full of breeders - pairs or trio's of ice blues, red zebs, red shoulder peacocks, johanni, ob peacocks, and other randoms ob zebs, clown loaches bristlenoses and other random single africans tropheus and some peacocks looking for partners... All up ive got hundreds too many to count it was certainly a mission moving them all from Auckland it was tons and tons of bags and polyboxes in the car with 3 cats and a dog And ive still got empty tanks so more room for fish Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Foxglove Posted December 27, 2006 Report Share Posted December 27, 2006 I have a 3' 150l tank, planted, with driftwood and rocks. 1 pair kribs 5 rummy-nose tetras 6 cardinals 1 bristlenose 1 moonlight gourami. Another 2' (90l) planted tank with 10 harlequins 1 bristlenose 6 peppered corys. These will be shifted into a new 3' tank soon. (yay for Peanuts upgrading hers!) The bristlenose may go into the other tank. At work I have a 3' 180l tank with 2 angels 10 black widow tetras 6 glowlight tetras 12 neons 7 corys (4 bronze and 3 albino) I think this one is overstocked. :oops: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Afrikan Posted December 27, 2006 Report Share Posted December 27, 2006 Umm we have 5 Display tanks in our house... 1 8fter, 1 6fter and a 5fter, 4fter and a 300 litre corner tank And our spare room is currently decked out for our Blue Tongue Skinks and different species of fish we have bred and are raising up (so that means more tanks) :lol: (Only because the fish room isn't ready!!!) :roll: We house mostly African species, we have Frontosa x 19 (at the moment).. 9 Julidochromis transcriptus.. 6 Julidochromis marleri... 6 Altolamprologus Compressiceps... Lamp Brichardi and list goes on.. Then Malawi, I won't go there much, would take forever :lol: we have Demasoni, Range of different peacocks, (Royal Blues, Yellows Peacock, Marleri Red, Dragon Blood) Melanochromis johanni, Electric Yellows, Malawi Eye Biter.. And of course one of our displays is a planted tank, with whiptails, corys, Dumerilli Angels, and fancy little plecs.\\ Then the 5fter is our Geo tank, Jurupari and Surinamensis, with Chocolate Talking Catfish and Hoplo and a few more fancy plecs.
