All of them are okay, but there is a risk with the push fittings that they will leak or worse yet come part. I have used push fitting and wouldn't reccomend using them, different of course if the plumbing is in the tank or sump where it doesn't matter if they leak. Aquarium Dude Posted December 24, 2006 Author Report Share Posted December 24, 2006 Pipes for canister filters have to turn some rather awkward corners and thought that idf I used those black irrigation fittings it would solve the problem, I was thinking the push fittings with plastic hose clip and didn't know there was an alternitive.
