bulldogod
Ok, I bought some of that white stone? not sure what its called but helps with the ph, anyway it is really cloudy still after heaps of washing, but if I leave it in bucket to settle then the water clears up. Do I have to keep washing it till the water is clear when Im stirring it around???Hope someone understands that
ryanjury
when i got argonite I had the same problem I spent ages and ages cleaning the stuff until it ran clear but im sure if you set your tank up with filter etc it will have settled by the next day.. jude
maybe you need a builders sieve - that way the dust would wash out the bottom. I've "borrowed" my father's old one and use it for washing gravel.

Afrikan
We have all 3 of our big African tanks with Aragonite, we rinsed it as thoroughly as we could, and ran it in the tank, filters definately cleared what cloudiness there was in no time
meesheelly
And if your filters dont help there is this water settling stuff that i saw in the pet shop.
