malawiman
Just got back in from work , early knock off for Xmas shout. Went to fishroom to tend fish and found one of my dolphins are holding. They still young and no sign of humps yet. This is the first time they spawned and hopefuly she'll hold on to them and not eat them. :bounce:

malawi_man
I was under the opinion that they couldn't breed until they are 10cm because that's when they become fertile I think. I have 2 pairs and one of the pairs was "breeding" this morning but she layed no eggs and didn't even have her egg layer out  Good luck with them I had 60 of them at 4cm at one stange, I should have kept alot more of them. They are kool fish
Johannes Visser
Once they have spawned for the first time, and hold sucsesfully they are virtually unstoppable. Congrats, How big are they ?
malawi_man
they also have a BIG tendancy to spit when I bred mine they wouldn't hold for more than 3 days so I stripped the eggs and raised every single one!
malawiman
Thanks. They between 10 and 13 cm. I'm just stoked that they spawned and will see what happens. Will keep you posted.
