alanmin4304 Posted November 24, 2006 Report Share Posted November 24, 2006 I had some for a couple of years in a goldfish pond and they grew from about 20mm to 70mm. They were not happy chappies. x matt x Posted November 24, 2006 Report Share Posted November 24, 2006 Trout must be keeped in a large tank at a temp of 8C to 15C (so a chiller or air-con room is a must), a neutral pH is best but 6.7 to 8.2 is OK. They like a strong current and very highly oxygenated water 5.0 ppm+ (bring a river fish) so put a few powerhead's ect... in the tank. (and use a BIG filter, sump ect...) and air pumps.
