Johannes Visser
I have been wondering if some of you can give some info what I can do. I am moving house and need to move my fish and tanks along. but to move a whole house I will not have much time to move and to setup all tanks. I do not have many tanks. My question is will I be able to place all my Malawi's and tropheus in one tank for a few weeks. Malawi cichlids from 1cm to 10cm and tropheus cichlids of 5cm. Approx 50+ Malawi's ( Electric Yellows) and females holding. 15 x tropheus ( 5cm 3x Cobalt blue's ( 8cm + Tank is aproxly 5 foot tank. 500 Ltrs
Afrikan
Umm it might thin your fish out a little in numbers :-? Mekhaela
ryanjury
You may get away with it but I would definately consider rehoming any babies or fish you dont need as those sorts of numbers even in a 5ft tank may go bad if not for fighting then for build up of waste etc.. Do you have any friends with spare tanks you can lend fish out to while you move?

herefishiefishie
Theres a very good chance there will be some fights in there. The tank should have enough room. Yellows tend to stay out of trouble. It will depend on how your tropheus & cobalts get along. Frenchy
ryanjury
I could arrange a spare 4ft if you wanted it for a week or so it has fish in it at the moment so its cycled and its only a few that could be moved just let me know.. I would hate for you to loose anything in the move especially 15 tropheus.
