I mean they eat the both foods, but they seem to enjoy eating flakes more (immediately coming out of hiding when they see flakes, eating like they havent been fed for weeks). If a fish has never seen a type of food before and it is use to flakes or woteva, then they'll stick with what they know and just have nibbles on the other and then maybe convert over to YOUR choice. Scuba Sam Posted November 10, 2006 Report Share Posted November 10, 2006 Hi there, I just wondered how old the worms are - if they have been sitting around for a while, either in the LFS where you bought them from or at your place that may affect how much your fish like them. I was amazed to see that the new can of Tubifex worms was exactly the same packaging as the one I bought over ten years ago with my old tank. New ones were eaten quicker though... jude Posted November 10, 2006 Report Share Posted November 10, 2006 The fish in one of my tanks love the dried stuff but they tend to be a bit wary of it at first.
