Bananalobster
Hey.. I was just offered a tank for $60. The dimensions are 84Lx44Wx41H (cm).. No stand or lid. Used cond. does that seem like a fair deal? had a look at other tanks on trademe but none are the same/similar dimension so I cant compare really. Anybody got some advise on whether or not I should get it?
Keri Anne
I'd do it.... if my boyfriend wouldn't kill me. I mean, do we REALLY need a TV in the living room? A tank would look perfect there. :bounce:

fishboi
its seems reasonable depending on the condition, reasonable not great leaks, chips and does it still have all the lids? bit of a funny size u wont find a light thats the perfect fit. TimTam22
Tell them $50 and its a deal - you never know you might get it cheaper
Keri Anne
Nah, my money is my money, his is his. We've already kicked out a flatmate to give me a fish room so I'm only allowed 1 tank outside of it. I don't think that's fair... we could have one in the kitchen [who uses microwaves these day anyway - right?] ... 5 or 6 in the living room [i like sitting on the floor] ... A few in the hallway.... [walking sideways can be fun]...
Bananalobster
hehe thanks timtam I wish I could but dont have his email as its all through trademe. No lids. Maybe I will just wait till the next one comes along as I was trying to snatch a good deal. ($40 was the highest bid and it was by me... didnt meet the reserve and auction closed. Keri Anne
You should see some of the cheeky offers I've put in the Q & A of trade me. "Forgive me for noticing that you've relisted this item 3 times... if you lower your reserve to $X and put in a 'buy now' I'll take it off your hands." Works sometimes. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
