nicmack
Thanks to everyone for the nitite help my tank is clear with zero readings I have fallen in love with the look of the little guppie fish however i am wondering about their suitability with plecos, angels, neons danios and a siamese fighter? do they grow to a large size at all? Thanks
Caryl
Guppies only grow about 3cm and are a good community fish. The angels would love eating their tails and so, perhaps would the fighter. Plecs need very large tanks (growing up to 2ft) so are not usually in the same tank as small fish like guppies (which are generally kept in smaller tanks). Neons and danios would be fine. nicmack
thanks caryl ....so the guppies probably aren't a good idea then I would hate for their tails to get destroyed....
Luke*
Fighters can mistake guppies colourful tails for an enemy male, and try to destroy them
Tsarmina
female guppies may be ok with the fighter, but i'm not sure about the angel
nicmack
My mistake its not plecos that are in there its 3 platties? they are bright orange wit black fins? do these grow to big fish?
SpidersWeb
Platy dont grow very big, maybe around 7-8cm. Lots of colour varieties, and breeding is inevitable.
