chimera Posted September 18, 2006 Report Share Posted September 18, 2006 they are good size for mandarins. live food is all they eat so chances are he will become accustomed to them. best to dump the shrimp in the tank as soon as they're hatched as the egg sack is the nutritious part of the shrimp - the shrimp itself doesnt do much good for the fish. speaking of brine shrimp, they are a pain to hatch. does anyone have the "recipe" complete with pic's that someone from RC (i think melev?) made? i posted it here AGES ago but can't find the @#$#$%$ thing! Cheers I have had mine now for about 3.5 years, she eats frozen brine and sometimes dried food. So with a bit of time you may get luckly.
