malawi_man
i have a p-65 should be enough for 17 sponges, i run 4 small airstones, 10 of the 20cm airstones, 2 3foot ugf's and about 8 sponge filters off it. plenty to spare. what price are you planning on buying it for? AMAZONIAN
I would personally suggest you run a "BOYU" AC-015 at 150 Litres per minute. these are ELECTROMAGNETIC and are top of the line compressors. They are NOT AIR PUMPS as such. That would give you all the air you are ever likely to need. I can supply one if you want to order it. PM me. Luke*
Hey Amazonian are they noisy? Thinking about one but it would be in my bedroom

AMAZONIAN
Hi Luke No they are not noisy at all. there is a bit of a hum to them, probably about 50dB or less. The airstones make more noise.... I have run an AC-006 for two years as a trial model (Before we accepted an Agency) and have not had an ounce of trouble with it. The cost to FNZAS Members will be a lot cheaper than other "BRAND NAME" products, but to give you an idea of cost; the AC-006 will retail for about $175.00 incl. GST. I have seen a 120 Ltr. (ACO-012 equivilent) "Brand Name" unit in a Christchurch store selling for $325 plus some. Our price is about $225 including GST.
