nor_wester
My young Oscars have developed and what I treated as Whitespot, but now for some reason it appears their fins are feathering away. Could this be fin rot? If so what can I get, or do to treat them?
sharn
theres probably a specific med out for them but furan 2 is an alrounder so that might work (not sure). other than meds keep the water nice and clean and perhaps add a little melafix to aid in healing. a google on fin rot will probably bring up a few articles and pics to help you diagnose better
Tsarmina
i'm having the same problem in 1 of my guppy tanks (unfortunately the main one), so am interested in what everyone may suggest. i noticed white spot on 1 of my girls so have started treatment and tonight i had to pull out my lyre tail boy as his tail is, as nor_wester put it, feathering away. i put him in his own tank and added melafix, as i didn't want to put it in a tank i am treating with something else. Caper
I have a guppy whose tail was "withering" away (this was sometime ago now) so to speak. No other symptoms or signs of anything else, treated him with melafix and he's fine now.
