wasp
i'm keen to chop my anemone as well. i've decided to cut it across rather than up and down so i end up with more of a floating jellyfish and a spare foot.(my tank isn't big enough for 2 anemones) Considering the way they heal, and they way they split when they do it naturally, I think this would be quite a high risk method, down through the mouth would be safer. You mean me? If so, it was one that was cut off the anemone in the pic at the bottom of page 1 of this thread. It is a brown bubbletip anemone, Entamaea Quadricolor, a very hardy anemone. wasp
Should also add, for some reason, in my tank, the anemone stretches out it's tentacles like you see in the pic, but the frags from this anemone that are in other tanks often take the typical BTA shape, with bubble shapes on the end of the tentacles.
