Hi all, I'm wanting to buy angels, dwarf gourami, corys (julii, panda, similis, habrosus, axelrodi), rams, kribs, apistos, brichardi, jewels, julidochromis, or similar dwarven varieties. Also floating plants for the gouramis to build their nest in.

Is the Napier club still quite active? Think they used to have a designated evening to bring your stuff along and sell at the meeting?

Wow you starting a fish farm?

Guppies are not cold water fish, despite often being advertised as such. They can tolerate cooler temperatures but not cold.

Many keep them in unheated inside aquaria but indoor temperatures are usually relatively warm so an unheated tank does not equate with cold water.

He doesn't know how to respond

  3. kinda depends on the housing but must of them are quite water prof, if your worried you can put the underside in resin, but make sure you are getting rid of exses heat from the top.
basically just make sure noting shorts and you can put it under water

they also make little 3 unit strips that are water prof if you want an easy option

post a pic of what you got

    My new native tank

    Filtration: Aqua one nautilus 2700

    Chiller: Hailea 150a

    Stocking: Two common bullies

    Tank size: 120x30x30

Special thanks to Mathew Glenworth and his boss for the great deal on the chiller. Thanks also to Mark Paterson, William Pearman and all others who helped get this resolved.
