My old tank (exo terra 45-45-45)
-
Could we have an idea on the tank sizes?
U may also want to refer to the thread on bell frog care sheet for any information really?
-
Coming back into that froggie season again, start posting those pics
-
What species of frogs are in the fully set up tanks? and how big are they? looks great btw!
-
Wow great job and such a great read also! At the same time as you, i have also been creating a background for some whistlers in an exo terra 45,45,45. Will make a seperate topic of mine when im finished if anyone would like to see?
-
Yeah they are cool little pets that dont need much work. Anyone else have some photos to share?
-
Thanks, i just had 2 whistlers for 4 years and then i built a much larger inclosure outside for whistler tadpoles and frogs its going great out there but i still need to finish it off with more plants and logs
-
very cool photo, i like the mirror image of the frog on the water
as tadpoles
as froglet
-

Here are my Whistlers that i had. In an exo terra 45,45,45 with live plants.
Sorry if images do not work as this is my first time posting up pics

Chillin at the top of the tank

cool inclosure, nicely planted, suitable for frogs, water could be a bit deeper for breeding and all you would need is a hose to hook up to a sprikler inside of it. i have one like this but alot less plants i need to sort that out. you could keep heaps of golden bell frogs in there. what is it made of? more photos please
-
well i cant think of any other nz skink that has blue on is tail
-
Isnt the first one a rainbow skink from australia which is on the unwanted organisms list for new zealand? Still cool to look at though
-
what about video point and shooters are'nt that clear are they?
-
Wish i had my own canon my dad has a real good one but i want a macro type one
-
Who's using what camera's?
Digital SLR's or just point and shooters?
-
Haha yeah well its just the tank for the hopefully soon morphs that needs to be set up for me
Only a couple have legs, haha cant really say this cause they're only a pencil dot big
-
Sounds cool, i have a 75cm long by 40cm high by 40cm deep glass tank that is about 10cm deep with water. but from the front left hand corner on an angle to the back wall is all land with mosses and a peace lily tipe plant but with bigger leaves also large basking rocks. Atm this is where my tadpoles are and when they morph i will offer them food and when they decide to eat i shall move them to a planted out exo terra 45-45-45 with a shallow exo terra water dish
-
Lets talk about frogs while i still have the chance!!
How will u be keeping ur new morphs?
-
Looks like im gonna have my head down in my work for the nxt few yrs uhhhhh
Suppose its the best thing to do though
-
Back to the frogs haha :smot:
So atm i have my tads in a large glass tank with deep water plus land but when they hatch out i will start moving them to an exo terra 45-45-45 untill i find good homes for them maybe trademe
