  1. Hi I often browse trademe looking at bearded dragons/gheckos/skinks. Today I looked up bearded dragons on google, it came up with this runnung auction http://www.trademe.co.nz/Home-living/Pe ... 894814.htm which you cannot find if you just browse reptiles and turtles on trademe. Has anyone else had this? Thanks Danni
  2. remove (which rm is short for)
  3. I meant the Gambusia, not the guppies
  4. Haha yeah, well I doubt someone that was "clued up" would ever breed them. There is no point, especially if you want to make money, as who would buy them?
  5. Yeah, actually I think it was, sorry
  6. No, the tile was: Guppies or minnows or something?, like he didn't know what they were, but in the text he said they may be Gambusia. I didn't think someone would sell 75 guppies for $20.
  7. Well, it looks like that person (unknowingly) is doing it in large numbers....
  8. It is illegal to breed these right?? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Home-living/Pe ... 315881.htm
  9. OK, will look up those posts, thanks I wasn't necessarily looking for colourful or showy either....
  10. By natives, you mean?? Also, it is illegal to take some natives right? Haha yeah...I live right next to a farm, and they have a huuuge pond, usually this time of year it's teeming with tadpoles, but this year there are NONE. (really worrying for the state of NZ frogs)
  11. Hi I think maybe if they knew there was a group of ah, enthusiasts, who want it changed, they would do it, so why not post a link to this topic on the complaints?? Is there any reason not to?? *added my own message on trademe* Thanks Danni
  12. Hi As the title suggests, I just yesterday dug in a pond... It is one of the plastic bases, just put in a large hole in the ground (took all day to dig, but was done before nightfall, whew) It is small-ish. I guess it is about 2m long, 1-1.5wide and 0.5m deep (will measure properly tomorrow). I was just wondering if anyone has some interesting/unusual suggestions of what I could put in it other than the usual goldfish or turtle (something that is not too expensive if possible). Also plants/foliage suggestions. (I haven't seen any frogs advertised anywhere lately or I may have put a frog in) Thanks Danni
  13. OK, thanks heaps! Seems like everyone except me knows these things. Lucky I don't own any!
  14. Is it illegal to sell Koi or something? Just saw this thread and am confused...
