My pair is a normal male and silver female. Have only ever had one cinnamon produced and a handful of silvers, the pair seem to produce mainly normal offspring, may have to get my hands on a cinnamon at some stage and breed with my male to see what sort of ratios i get.

Is the mum a silver or a cinnamon?

Are there any Blyxa species available in NZ?

Thanks Ira, was originally just going to be the Gouramis and will most probably stay that way. Have been going by this, http://www.seriouslyfish.com/species/sp ... omenoides/, and tank size seems fine for the gouramis on their own.

Hi all,
I am in the process of setting up my 60x30x30cm (54l) aquarium which is to be a low tech planted.
Current stocking plan is 6 Chocolate Gourami and in future I am wanting to have a crack at breeding these guys, but am also thinking of adding more fish.
Top of the current list is:
-Emerald Eye Rasbora
-Possibly Pygmy Cories also.
Am thinking 10x Rasboras and 6x Cories if I go down this track. Anyway am just wanting opinions on whether this may be too much, or possibly if there is room for more, or if you have any other suggestions they are also welcome.
