Can anyone help with what my rams have i have already treated with melafix for a week then when ther was no improvment a course of furan2. I did have 2 gold rams but the other one has already died its sores were more around it head. I've already spent more than they are worth on trying to save them but are more interested in making sure the rest of my tank is going to be ok

I need some ideas for a plant to fill the gap in my tank. The space on the right is where it will be. I have daltons aquatic mix use flourish but dont have co2 yet. any ideas would be great

Im after so ideas for fish i can add to my apisto tank. Its a 50l and currently has one pair of apisto cockatoo's in it that have spawened a couple of times. I want something thats not likely to eat the fry if thats possable

Is it ok to re freeze bloodworms? I ask this as i got my sister to feed my fish at the weekend and she put my bloodworms in the fridge for a couple of days before remembering and then put them back into the freezer. just want to make sure they will still be ok before i feed them

Thats why i didnt put a name even though i guess most know who it was. Also its easyer to come to a resolution by making a phone call rather than email. I'm happy to say i will continue to shop there

Well i can say now that after a phone call this afternoon a alternative option was agreed on.Which ment paying a small amount more to cover the frieght of getting another tank from there supplier which is the current model with upgraded filter and in a different colour. Out of this whole deal I understand that mistakes can happen and they didnt remove the auction. But its what happens after and the actions you do to remady the problem that decides weather or not you return to the shop in the future to spend your money with them or chose to go somewhere else.

After some time i decided to upgrade my tank. So i was quite pleased when i found what i was after a rio 240 for sale on trade me at a very good price at a very well known local shop. So i placed my bid which turned ot to be the winning one. Only to recive a email a couple of hours after the auction closed informing me that they had already sold it through the shop and that they couldnt suppy me a tank. At first i was dissapointed that this had happened but what annoyed me more was they didnt even offer any alternative tank at first and when i asked they replyed saying that other people had the same tanks for sale on trade me and i should try and buy that one. So my advise if your buying off trade me from a shop make sure you ask them if they still have it in stock to avoid the same disapointment that i am haveing

yeah i know im still trying to decide where the money is going to come from for it. i guess my beetle will be a little while longer before it gets on the road

I'm thinking of buying a new tank to replace the ar 980 i have. I'm thinking of getting a juwel rio 240. i currently have a cf 1200 in my ar 980 would this be big enough to run by its self or should i use the internal that comes with the 240. Also after any advise on quality of these tanks because i dont want to have to replace anything too soon or worry about leaks any help would be great

Hi there been meaning to do this for a while I'm relatively new to this i have a ar 980 with a cf 1200 my fish are a few guppies a few kulli loaches 3 small bristlenose's one blood parrot which is still small enough to not eat the guppies a small black ghost knife a upside down cat fish 2 electric blue rams a bolivian ram and a few others its good having somewhere to get ideas and info from and have learnt a lot from reading through the posts

I have just noticed my black ghost knife has had one of its side fins attacked and most of it is missing? What do i do is there something i can add to the water? Is there any chance it will grow back Any help would be great thanks Nathan

yep straight out of the box gave everything a good rinse out before i used it. i'm thinking of running it in another tank for a couple of weeks then changing it over and hopeing i have more luck

I had the same thing happen last week. It ws he same filter into the same tank but i still had the old filter running in it while the new filter cycled for a couple of weeks. But when i got home after the first day of it running i found 4 dead fish. I took the filter out and am still trying to decide the best way of getting it set up without killing more fish.
