Ron, discus madness as i will call it. Love and dedication to the hobby. Never even doubted when I went for these wild ones. Only 48 was imported, we have 38 between the three of us. - :)

With these imports, it should boost the quality of discus in the country. It's more on the love of the hobby rather than the price. :)

Don't be put off buying babies. Just need to do more research on how to choose good ones although there is still no gurantees. Buying juveniles would be the cheapest way to start discus. Adult ones which are good for breeding will be hang on by breeders. Those nice and uncommon strains of adults would cost a bit if ever it would be sold. In a basket of apples, there's always a few rotten ones. Same goes with the same batch of discus and breeders alike. Don't be put off.

Any fish not looked after will get stunted. From my opinion, Giant Floras are more closely related to the Brilliant Knight of Wayne Ng's Discus (Hongkong).

Hi there, check out the size of a high fin and high bodied Giant Flora discus. You'll be amazed by the shape and size.

Who says one plus one equals two in genetics. Give the guy who is selling a break. I bet in two turqs, somewhere down the line, I can get snakeskin. Better research yourself than listen to some has been.
