The 2-in. (5 cm) male Foja tree frog signals with his nose: it inflates when he is calling and deflates when he grows quiet.

Hey one of my mates 21sts is coming up and he is really keen to get a baby beardy but the breeder i know doesnt have any available. So i was wondering does anyone know of a breeder in the auckland area with any baby beardies available? he is very keen but just cant seem to find anyone have tried trademe but the closest is hamilton but would really prefer around auckland or if someone was confident in shipping. Any help would be much appreciated.

Just heard 3 different importers have imported l046 and in decent(well enough) numbers. By the sounds of the wholesale price it could be true i guess youll have to wait till they come out of quarrantine. 1 importers are due out 1 day before the rest and he has the most. Just giving you a heads up for all you guys after zebras but expect to pay $700-$1000 per fish

on the wholesalers list wen these were just coming in there were about 3 species all extremely similar to dragon bloods just varying from deep orange to almost pink the two names i remember were dragon bloods and prime silver peacocks i think most shops just kept calling them dragon bloods so there may be different im nt sure but doubt it maybe the wholesaler got the ones with washed out colous and called them prime silver so they woudl sell who knows...

Hey if anyone could help would be awesome
Hey Kyle Nice chatting this afternoon and thanks for your offer of help. Razor Films is producing a new consumer television series for TVNZ6 called "Use As Directed". The show will be quirky and fun in style and cover a range of topics from how products are made to how consumers use them. We are doing a couple of episodes on pets and are looking for some owners with more exotic or unusual pets to come on the show and talk about them. The shoot is next *Tuesday 21st July* at the TVNZ studios on Victoria Street West. We would need the person and their pet for a couple of hours from about *5.30pm*. Can you please forward this email onto anyone you know who might be keen and they can contact me directly. Thanks heaps! Rachel JudkinsResearcher"Use as Directed"Tel: (06) 345 0298Mob: 021 903 503 -

ive used freshwater shrimps and they worked well i think they helped hatched them 2 as they are always cleaning the eggs and moving them but dont eat them unless there infertile. heres a article on a guy in singapore that does it who inspired me to do it http://www.killies.com/Incubating2.htm and heres how to force hatch as others have saidhttp://www.killies.com/Breedinglyretails.htm

Bristlenose in nz are not known to be pure neway so it doesnt matter. Bristlenose in nz come under the name Ancistrus sp. (3) so dont get ur undies in a bunch when we already more than likely have hybrids. L144(golden bristlenose) origin is not exactly known either and also could well be a hybrid even tho there is a report of it coming from just normal ancistrus temminck(spelling) and being 1 lutino male fond in the wild and all have beenn bred from him so theyve been crossed with normal coloured Bn and then craossed back to there father etc to eventually only get gba's (this is why it is thought we get the big black marks on some of them). So HomerandMarge have every rite to breed them together as they are not known as there own species.
And well done HomerandMarge
