  1. I am successfuly breeding albino bristlenose cats, have a trio of GBAs I have just set up and looks like breeding will start soon!

Have a breeding group of cory (bronze) aswell and have recently spawned and hatched golden axolotls.

was breeding the normal bristlenoses but my breeding female died not too long ago.

  2. I have a breeding pair of albino bristlenoses

A breeding trio of golden black eyed bristlenose (GBA)

A breeding group of bronze cory

A common bristlenose male whose mate died not too long ago

    A red whiptail (male)

    Two gold spot large plecos

Many baby albino and common bristlenose babies!!!

  3. I have what I think is a male red whip tail. Was thinking of having a go at breeding this type of fish along with my other cat fish. Have a general understanding of how they will breed and what not but is always good to get advice from those who have experience :)

will need a female if anyone knows of any also cheers guys!!!

  4. i have asked a question on the auction to see what he has to say about it. there are allot of sub species of the common brown bristlenose including the bushy bristlenose the differences being very hard to see....

  5. I have three breeding groups of bristlenose cats:

    pair of common

    pair of golden (GBA)

and a pair of albino (red eyes)

seem to be more successful with the albinos which is strange as they are the rarest type. If anyone out there is a bristlenos e fanatic leave some tips and comments and hopefuly try and get some more people interested in these amayzing guys!

    thanks mark

  6. Hi there guys have been on here for about a week now and great stuff ay!

I breed normal and golden albino bristlenoses. i have a breeding group of each and am currently getting the black eyed golden bristlnose breeding setup underway.

my partner breeds the golden albino axolotls, cockateils and is currently trying to get blue tongue lizards breeding and red eared sliders aswell.

so yes we are real animal lovers haha!!!!!

if anyone is interested in help or advice in there animal care or breeding drop us a line and we will help if we can.

  7. we have a about 200 baby golden axolotls that have hatched and their yoak sacks are going quick. i bought a bag of daphnia and was wandering how to breed them so i dont have to travel to get some. i have put some in green water outside and put some milk in to culture the bacteria (that they eat so im told). does anyone have any other sudgestions that have worked realy well for them? thanks guys!!!!

  8. i realise that and they are in a 1.2meter long tank with a 700ltr/hr filter and air pump. they are only babies and i have no intention of mixing the two types in breeding as i already have adult breeding pairs. i do a water change every day and add water changer solution in it. they are fed on a vaireid diet of zuchine, flakes, and algie pellets.

  9. no pics but they are like white to pink wounds that develope over them. as if something has taken a big bite out of them... thay are in good tank conditions and fed well so i am powerless to help my little guys.

my albinos are unaffected which makes me wonder

  10. i breed albino and common bn catfish and have noticed that a number of my common ones as babies develope wounds around their bodies. i first thought that it was fish in the tank but have a growing tank now and this is still happening...

the albino ones arenot affected and seem to grow faster which is strange as they have the same conditions.

perhaps genetics with the common parents... i dont know.

if anyone has any insight on this it would be great to hear from you!
