(Okay, I CAN'T join in the words........)
If you were a muppet, which one would you be? I was thinking to start, Gonzo. But then I realised that being a large blue-nosed alien with a fondness of chickens is just not right.... So now I'm thinking, Sam the Eagle. He's a very witty guy with amazing one-liners. Very funny... I still remember him listening in on one scene and at the end of it turning around and saying "You are all WEIRDOS!".
Oh, and question..... What was the name of the 2 guys that would sit up in the 'hole in the side' and yell harrassments at the muppets?
Ahhhhh, I'm showing my age now!
Well done to your Gran! I'd love to meet somebody that has been alive for so long..... fasinating to hear of their life so far. Give her a great BIG hug from me! And of course, all of my thoughts of happiness. And the same to your family! May the longetivity flourish!
Ho-ho! Yo;re a funny .........
Okay, new question,......
If she washed the dishes and you DRIED the dishes and she went back and CLEANED the dishes,.......
What would you make of that,,,,,,,,,,AND WHY>?!
OH! ! ! ! (Of course!) T - Rex was just the best ! But is that really on the topic?
Question....(for the men...) .....................
If your lady is ill and unable to get out of bed, even for a squizz, do you
A... Wait until she is awake to ask "Where are the beans?"
B... Make her a camomile tea and fold the washing?
C... Run her a bath and look after her?
D... Asist with her marketing team until she is capable?
E... Other....
Name your answer. And 'Y'. 8)
Good for you! If he's a good one, let him know!
Knock him off? I hope you don't do that just yet. Look at what's going on in Auckland. Can't have it spreading now, can we?
Yeah, they are a part of the dwarf family. And yes, I did manage to get rid of 90 odd of the little guys. I have 10 left. 12 counting the adults.
Am watching them now and wow, nasty! I reckon they're gonna breed again and no way am I going thru with that for the second time! Glad to say that my new siamese fighter is still okay as he hangs around the top, but the other fish are NOT happy.
Anyone want some fish?
Hmmm. Many great points and suggestions. I have come to the conclussion that for the harmony of the tank, I need to get rid of the adults. Not the greatest thing to do but really, there is no other option. The idea of putting the babies into the 28L tank is great, but I heard somewhere that many cichlids should be kept in tanks no smaller than 100L. Or would that be a matter of relying too much on the web again? :-?
Thanks Mumsy. That's my point (one of them). And if the fish are made to believe that they are in a NEW environment, surely they shouldn't be so aggro because other fish have the territory first?
Argh. I could puzzle over this all day but I'm not a fish shrink. I guess it's off to the pet ship to buy another tank tomorrow!
Yup. Have them in another tank but that's not 'mine'. Have seriously considered it though for my tank.. I REALLY need a larger tank, but I'm only thinking 180-230 at the mo.
Oh no! They're giving Pecker edit-mod! (er, I mean the plecotomus....) And yes, I do name my fish.....
What gives? Male egotism? But in saying that, I think the female is the worst of the pair..... I guess I'll just have to bite the bullet and either get a new tank asap, OR, get rid of the fish, OR, try the smaller tank thing, not that I think it's best, judging on what the male keyhole did. *sigh*
Anymore options avaliable?
HA! There you go then! (Sorry to all you men/boys...)
I get pointed to wood woodpile and told "This is dry, put it on the wheelbarrow..." So I do, then he complains I get wet wood.. Go figure....
Okay, so I had work today. I came home and said "Why hasn't the vacume-cleaning been done?" (As I was about to head to work this morning, I was told I had time to do the dishes. In 10 minutes!? Please!?)
To get the story,he said, "I had to do this, I had to do that.... but I did manage to do the washing.....".
5 minutes ago, he brings out the washing...... from the machine..... still wet..... hangs it on the clothes horse.
Question,..... If I had said I had washed the car, but only managed to put a rag in the bucket and swish it around once or twice, would that be the same thing. I mean.... COME ON!!! ! ! !
*sigh* These fish are becoming more of a problem than a hobby!
Just watching them now, and they're DEFINATELY in charge of the tank front! I guess that if worse comes to worst, I'll need to get rid of the adults. As I said, no way that they can be in a smaller tank. And the divider thing is out of the question. (As is the larger tank. ARGH!)
(Sorry Mitzy, if having all those babies is making you re-think!!!!)
Tell me about it! Believe me, I've been looking! Funds are low at the mo but I'm on the look-out.
What size tank is usually kept for the ease of fish with this sort of nature?
