Well I must be a lucky girl. I brought a tank ( 30 litre) complete with Leopard fish. I set it up at work and nothing said...lol. If anything it is a conversation starter. And it is amazing how many visitors I have just to see the progress of my fish..LMAO I have to move offices and the one stipulation was that my *Babies* come with me. Well guess what? My *Babies* are going to have new surroundings... I find it so soothing to have a fish tank in my office.

To my knowledge i always thought goldfish were *cold* water fish. I have 4 in a 40 liter tank on the deck. (covered).(awaiting for a pond to be built for them) They sort of hibernate during the colder weather and don't eat much. But they are all fine. Come Summer they are back to normal. Your girlfriend might like to think about a bigger tank for the goldfish down the track as they grow bigger and need more space to swim etc. but definately don't add any more to that tank. Thankyou for the wee *Family* They are now in the tank and making themselves at home I don't do windows!! So they have gotten to work and cleaning up the tank. What I call *child Labour* :lol: It was lovely to meet you and see your tanks. I have so much more to learn

I have a female and male Siamese fighting fish in with Guppies in my 40 litre tank. They all get on well. I brought an ornament car for my boy when he wants time out. He tries to entice his girlfriend in for a *ride* Looks so funny. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Update: Yup filter is dead as a dodo. They are going to give me a temp one tomorrow and order a new one for my tank. Good service

Just did a 40% water change. Man I love big water carrier bottles...lol Yup do Have air pump and hoses. Brought it over the weekend for my other small tank. I have hooked the tubing up to the pump and put the hose into one of the ornaments to make bubbles. I dunno why I didn't think of it earlier. Was coming back to post what I had done..and I saw what you said about the air pump and hosing... Great minds think alike huh?
