So, like, this one time, I clicked on a thread to read about a book reccommendation...
And somehow I ended up here...
-
I'm still young, I can read that
Typically I'll text like this "Th quick brwn fox jumps ovr th lazi dog" but with a keyboard "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog". It's all a matter of convenience really, I can spell perfectly fine and my grammar is good too. Predictive text bothers me too, Mum likes it though :-?
Hmmm if I'm in a rush or someone iritates me and aren't worth the effort i'll type like
"Hey how are you? What have you been doing lately?"
As
"Wasabi? Wtchu duin?"
-
Nah, young people don't like it cos den dey cant typ lik morons.
I remember a survey where only 15% of people preferred predictive.
Smart young people prefer predictive because they know how to spell the words.
I don't use it personally but I usually type everything in full anywho as it's much faster for me to text without it.
Not so smart people who can't spell don't like it because they put all the letters in but the word doesn't come up...

Looking at stocking my 108L tank with this combo.
I'm thinking 30 WCMM and a handful of shrimp, that too much?
Does anyone in Auckland know where to find these FW Shrimp?
Thanks!
If you come down these ways I can share my secret spot with you!
Wouldn't 30 be too many? That said I have always been fond of "less is more" in terms of fish.

Earlier in this post ? :-?

FUN!
I can hatch some in my incubator for someone if they want
-
Yeah, you should charge an entrance fee. lol
You've done a lot of work to the local marine tank since I saw it last weekend!
-
yet they want more hassles and paper work.
I'm really sorry to learn of your loss.
As a banker; we don't like more hassle or paper work either, but we try and follow the law as best we can.
Your banker probably didn't want to be dragged over the hot coals just because they know you.
It's law and it should have been explained to you by your solicitor when you signed it that POA and EPOA of any description ceases at death.

those rocks wouldnt stop my cats! They just sit and wait, the fish swims past and splash crunch the fish is gone and the cat is smiling
Nothing a water pistol couldn't fix.
Train your cats, my two boys know what are out of bounds.
Fish, Chickens, Cousin's mice when they come to stay, kitchen bench etc :bounce:
-
Ponds are cool but be aware of neighbours cats who like to fish and depending on the size of the pond you could have probs with kingfishers.
Lots of rocks for the fish help! We did ours like this:
And no problems so far.
Apart from when I discovered that frogs like relocating themselves when it rains
Well they were cute for the first 3 weeks of sunshine.. sitting on the lilly pads and heating themselves up on the rocks...
eating paper wasps who land for a drink etc.
-
Yeah. I had one of those but the wheels fell off.
(Back on subject)
Those flies are pretty amazing... I wonder if he wants to buy some feathers - my chickens are molting at the moment 8)

thanks heir.. our tanks are covered although the lids do have air slits in them (all in one hooded tanks) .. how well covered are your tanks?
I have done a quick google and have got conflicting info.. most sites say not to use around fish tanks but some fishkeepers are reporting they do use it.
Our tanks are in the main rooms not far from where the robocan would be. (open plan)
We're open plan too and have a tank in the same room that has ventilation holes in the tank lid.
Never had any issues, the cats are ohk too and they seem to eat the dead flies before I get a chance to get rid of them
-
My reply works for both mozzies and flies in general.
Much to my disliking Steve uses Raid automatic which as a natural one, but I still don't use them for fish fodder. No problems with Raid and the fish, though all our tanks are covered.
Don't have birds so can't help you there...
Welcome back to the forum

I'm sorry, what?
The point I was making was how this thread has veered off track...
That's all, thanks for your idea though. Get better soon.
